Pick-up and Drop-off times
Motorhome Europe rental stations are open 24 (Twenty Four) hours 7 (seven) days a week by apppointment only. Please note we charge additional Euro 50 if pick-up time is between 24:00 - 05:00.
Pick-up and drop-off times have to be informed upon booking, or it will not be confirmed.
Motorhome Europe needs exact pick-up and drop-off times!
In addition, flight numbers have to informend for all rentals that include airport pick-up service. If a client does not comply with returning time, Motorhome Europe reserves a right to charge 50 € per hour for each hour that a client is late. The Client has to give a minimum 24-hour notice of being late or the surcharge will be issued. However, Motorhome Europe has to approve any changes in returning time. Motorhome Europe may charge in addition to above mentioned fee monetary losses from the client, who was late, if their being late delays the next rental of the rental vehicle
What kind of instruction will I be given about the vehicles, their appliances, and how to use them?
You will receive a full orientation of the motorhome, including client's maintenance use and responsibility.
How do I operate the heater/cooker/fridge etc.
You will be given a full induction tour of the vehicle at pickup.
Are motorhomes difficult to drive or slow to accelerate?
Modern motorhomes handle very much like a car and have enough power that they accelerate as quickly as many cars.
Are motorhomes complicated to hook up to campsite facilities?
Connecting the motorhome to campsite facilities requires no technical expertise. You will receive instruction on these connections at the time of pick up.
What kind of power supply does a motorhome have?
The refrigerator, heater, water heater, stove and range operate on propane gas. The dash air conditioner is powered by the engine while driving and other items by an outside 220V power supply.
How does the Electrical Supply work?
All the built-in equipment on the vehicle runs on 12 Volts from the auxiliary battery. They also run on 220 Volts when the vehicle is plugged into an external power point.
You will only be able to run items such as hair-dryers, irons, etc. which require 220 Volts, when the vehicle is plugged into an external power point. The auxiliary battery will not power these items.
